I've got an alternator overdrive pulley and a Dayco Polycog belt. For the winter, I put my stock crank pulley back on. Now the alternator screams. I'm guessing it hits 15k RPMS or more. 
BTW, the Gatorback that I had on seemed to be a bit louder.

Not really....never used a Gatorback. Just your standard groove belt. Also I had the stock alternator.
