well no i want a new one because i got scammed and the p0eople who replaced it last time gave me a "repaired" bumper
and there is a butt load of filler and bondo on a part of the bumper cover that was never damaged. so the guy at the body shop is a buddy of mine, he wants to get me a new bumper, because god knows how bad the bumper really is. filler and bondo was just peeling off of it

And how much bodywork have you had done recently? the fact that its silver and has to be blended like a mofo would put it around $1k alone. And last time I checked SVT bumper covers weren't to easy to come by. I was rear ended a couple years ago and the rear bumper itself was around $980 unpainted.

PARTS ARE ABOUT 11-1200$ AFTER LABOR AND PAINT ETC IT COMES TO 1880

I know the paint has to be blended. The front bumper isnt that bad at all. It can actually be saved. Thats why I said $1000. If he gets a new bumper then yeah $2,000 with the blending of the paint. Unless there is no blending (which I NEVER recommend). Its a nice car, so I would pay the cash to get it looking nice.

Just do what I did, Get the old bumper cover back from the shop after they are done with your car and sell it to somebody on CEG! I sold my rear bumper cover from an accident to Mikey Boy. Make some money off your misfortune and help a fellow CEG'r out at the same time.

did you read her above post? she does need a new bumper and there is easily $1,000 dollars damage even if she didn't need a new bumper. i had about the same thing happen to me and it was over $1,000, which was considerably lower than two other estimates i got which were 1500 and 1700!! on a side note: nice new mustang mang!!
sorry to see that happened kristen, post pics when she's all done up
