lol oh well, i dont care i am not paying for anything now will my insurance go up? or should it not because it is not a comprehensive claim? i was under the impression that whenever your insurance is used it goes up. but i have been told otherwise. any info on this dave?

if you are not at fault, they cannot, by law, raise your premiums. if you are, or you get any tickets with points, they can. but... if you have too many claims over a given period (your fault or not) they can drop you. but you're probably safe.

When i got hit in the rear quarter pannle it was like 1500, All that was done was a new quarter and paint blending into the back door.
The front fender doesn't require cutting and welding though so, maybe it was all the labor that made mine so exspensive.
But then again i didn't have to pay and it doesn't sound like you do either so who cares
