You have to remember that these a/f gauges aren't really all the accurate. Plus with changes in weather and what not it could be lean. If you have it hooked up correctly, as already stated above, then its working as it should. If you want to to be MORE accurate check out
www.gadgeseller.com. And to answer your other question, there is no backlighting to the gauge, just the LEDs.
