Hey guys - My SVT got "totalled" last week when a dude hit me from behind into another car on 94. I'm trying to decide whether to buy it back from the insurance company but first I wanted to see if there is any interest in some of the stuff I have that is still in great condition. All the work was done around 100,000 miles. I'm now at about 116,000. I've loved this car and it would be a shame to let some d-bag junkyard buy it for $50 bucks. Catch is I have nowhere to put the car and I don't have the skills to try and fix it or tear it down so I would need someone who has an interest in possibly taking the whole car... hint - pm me -
The car was hit from the rear and the front. Damage is mainly to the front and rear bumper but because the car is old they don't want to fix it. but there's still a lot of good stuff on it. It goes as follows:
Terry Haines Rebuilt Transmission with 12,000 miles on it - slick shift, tower mod, quaife, the works. Got everything possible that Terry would do.
4 doors - all shaved handles with actuators on front 2 w. remote, wiring, etc. - Has a blue flake over the standard black but you could repaint easily. They're all in perfect shape.
Fidanza Flywheel - 12,000 miles
OEM Clutch - 12,000 miles
H&R / Koni Setup - 12,000 miles
KKM Cold Air Intake
Engine seems intact - it ran fine after accident
All interior is in good shape
4 stock rims in decent shape
3 18" quadratec rims in ok shape - 1 cracked
So....in an effort not to disturb the moderator gods I won't ask if anyone wants it - I'll just ask...should I buy it back?
I do have access to a truck/trailer to move it but nowhere to put the thing....
