Looks like some of you guys tangled with a Maxima in Kalamizoo. If he really runs a 14.4, I take it what he's saying is true. Anybody want to comment? See link http://forums.clubsi.com/showflat.php?Ca...sts&Main=647192

The RxR track paragaph was Rara and I. We weren't racing. Just playing around since it was on WMU's campus. Trust me he'd know if I was racing. Ask him how the real racing turned out. He was a boat at the AutoX. It was a nice looking Maxima though.

The maxima was me. Yeah I did perform terribly in the AutoX I agree. 25.590 was my best in STS which was a weak showing. I guess 12th of 28 in STS isn't that bad, but compared to the 2 other AutoX's I've done, it was weak. My next 2 runs were DNFs, one for going too hot into the slalom and the other I simply missed a cone. I placed 2nd in STS at the last WMU AutoX in August, and first in STS in a Saginaw Valley Association AutoX at the Delphi plant in Flint. This was only my 3rd autoX ever. I was on new tires, tires which I'd not pushed yet and thus had no idea of their limits and no idea what tire pressures to run. The guy in the 1st Contour to go across the tracks looked very familiar, is he from Kalamazoo? Are you sure you weren't racing? We were going pretty hard up to 80 or 90 mph heheh

Lol, I sure wasn't racing, I was following todras (he is local, I was in the green SVT), I heard you gun it behind me and just kept waiting for you to pass, but it seemed to take forever. As for the autoX, I was pretty dissappointed too. I got 2 DNFs and 2 so-so runs in with my best time being a 25.890 on my stock suspension, brakes and tires. I know there was at least a 3/4 to a full second more in the car, but I was having a rough day behind the wheel.
It's all about balance.

Yes he was stock. TB

Are you the little punk-ass that was stalking out races by the Clarion? We kept seeing this all black Maxima all weekend. He kept cruising the lot at the Clarion and looking for races.
I was riding with a buddy in his Silver SVT and you jumped out of the Denny's lot, lie you were looking for a race.
Hate to say it, but the one time we did try, you lost.

Hate to say it, but the one time we did try, you lost. Whoa dude, I was working, not looking for races. I deliver pizza for Godfathers, not more than 1/4 mile down the road. "Little punkass looking for races" Don't you look like a dumbass now... I drove through the lot a couple times, both thursday (while working 5-close), friday (while working, again 5-close) and saturday once to show my roommate all the SVTs because his older sister has one. I was bored while working, and I felt like looking at some cars. Sorry if that gets your panties all wadded up. Some of your CG members came into my work and we talked for a minute, they were nice guys. Apparently not all Contour owners are quite that civil. Steve Chang is, I know that, as I used to be his next door neighbor about 2 years ago. Eric, I came out of the Godfather's lot, my work, not the Denny's lot, heading down to H avenue for a delivery. I am curious on how you figure I lost though, you guys were creeping forward at the light NOT me, you got on it first on Sprinkle road again you guys initiating it, and I ran you down like nothing, by the top of second I was pulling you along like a dog on a leash. You (actually your friend, the silver car with the Konigs on it) didn't and wouldn't pull on me. I thought you guys were cool about it, and I even nodded and gave a thumbs up AFTER I ran you down and passed you. Apparently you weren't cool about it though. Oh well not my problem. Man, a guy can't even deliver a few pizza's in his own city without taking a bunch of flak from people. Chill out. Rara, I knew you weren't racing, and I wasn't trying to race you. Rara you were the blonde guy who gave me thumbs up correct? Just making sure I wasn't getting the 2 cars confused, there were alot of SVTs around. Don't worry, I don't claim BS races like Eric L. does apparently.
