I have been using Fram and Puralator, and it seems that the Fram filters more dirt than the Puraltator. For $7 for a regular filter, I can't justify spending $40-something on a K&N. Plus, it is so much easier to just pop the tabs, pull out the old one and throw it away, and drop in the new one.
