Nice rides, I'd like to check them out sometime.
I have a 91 Escort GT, I'm sure you already know about its relation to the protege. ((Turbo is in my dreams, but probably not gonna happen because it would kill the car's usefulness in autox w/o many more $$$ mods))

naw that motor caold hold atleast 6-7lbs as it is. But it shouldnt be overbearing. But that motor loves boost..

Yeah it can handle 10psi on the stock engine and stuff, or even 12 with an aftermarket fuel pump. But for autox to make the added power useful, I would need a LSD (~$1600), clutch (~$300), r compounds (~$140 each), etc.
I'll take your old engine or any parts you have from it if you still have any.

manthat motor is in my friends mx3, so its all gone. i dotn have nything left from it. boost the GT man, u also have the choice in using a Miata clutch, u might be able to find one cheaper. I have anotehr friend who has a T3 Setup fora BP, he bought it abo a month ago, and hasnt instaleld it. And know hes talkin abou gettin rid of it. His has 8:5:1 Wiseco's in it, so he had planned on doin 15+lbs..
