I fly R/C helis as well and used to work for a major helicopter manufacturer. Spoke to one of the pilots and his statment to me was flying the real thing was much easier than flying the R/C. Reason being is you can 'feel' and see what the chopper is doing as oppose to only 'seeing' what it's doing.

Is that a Liberty?

Dig that electrical system! Entirely redundant. That's sweet!

YOUR Liberty?

Say I wanted to ask. Is it Sprot Pilot eligible?

Nope, It's a Europa. I'm not sure how you know it has twin electrical systems but it does. It has dual electronic ignitions and no magneto's so it needs a backup. And it's a friends I'm flying of the first 40 hour test program. I did paint it though. It cruises about 130mph and stalls at 45mph. Continental 0-200 engine. It's benn balanced and has high comp. pistons and makes about 120 hp.

YOUR EUROPA HAS NO MAGS????

I know about Liberty's deal. IT's kinda challenging, compared to the basic knowledge I gathered in my Aircraft Systems class at school.

BTW, tomorrow I start Aerodynamics!!!!!! My teacher is a retired ATP (747 type-rated!!!)
