Okay CO people....

Where would I be best off buying into in Mesa County? I have family in Loma that are in the natural gas and oil industry, but I'm really not thrilled with that area.

I'd want to buy into a new subdivision/new construction. Where should I look? Fruita?

Any help would be great

Considering it, I've got an offer as a company rep that services the Rocky Mountain region. Just looking forward 10 steps so I know what I'd be getting myself into...

Fruita is a nice place. You can get some land and a house for a good deal. It is a fast growing area and Grand Junction is a nice city. We almost moved there but I grew-up on the eastern slope and I like bigger city living. If you move, we will have to meet. I am in Montrose CO about an hour south of GJ a lot for the wifes family. -B.

Cool, thanks for the input. I'm going to have to go down there to get a good feel for the area to be sure, but I think I might like a smaller city for a bit.

Its a clean city with a good economy and nice people. People on the the western slope are a lot nicer then people on the eastern slope. Best of luck with the look at CO. -B.

Is there a web site that covers Colorado's real estate fairly well? Even a basic MLS site would work, but I keep coming across lame...lame sites so far.
