95 V6 MTX mystique

I started it up this morning and had to go out and run to a few places. Under 2k it seemed like it just didnt want to go. After it started to warm up it got better. Is there any fix to this? In about 2 weeks I'm going to clean the intake manifold and new plugs(My mom is taking it to maryland for 3 days so I want to tune it up, plus its got 144k on the clock, needs a tune up ). Is there anything else that I can do to solve this?

Thanks

Sounds like it needs those new plugs sooner than you thought.

The cold weather does weird things to the Contour. I would suggest putting in a bottle of HEET or gas stabilizer in the gas tank if it is just bogging down with no CEL codes. If you don't have a garage, but have access to an electrical socket, a engine block heater might help the engine warm up faster in the mornings. Good luck.
