Bought a new Motorcraft alternator online last week and got it installed at a local shop (not a dealer), $123 labor. They said the alternator was failing the test before replacement and passed afterwards. Seems to run great now, glad to have her back after 9 days or so! Very handy to have a spare vehicle for times like this.
