I'll be a son-of-a-[censored]. Last Friday night I was at a bowling alley with some friends from work. I had driven my wife's Celica that night (don't remember why). I came outside to leave and someone had tried breaking in the driver side window.
It spider-webbed, but didn't break. I guess the tint held it together.
Anyway, it won't cost me anything (ins. policy has $0 glass deductible) but it's damn irritating. I've never had a car broken into until last month (
see this thread) and now I'm up to two cars broken into.
At least they didn't get in and take anything. Someone must've walked out of the bowling alley causing them to run off. After I filed a police report one of my buds and I had to rip the window off because it would've just collapsed in my lap on the way home.
I guess my van's next. Should happen right around December 1.
