Yes, particularly considering the dealer mentioned that the repair would otherwise run about $2K. That's more than the book value of the car right now - but I can't replace what the car is worth to me for book value.

I must admit, it makes me feel better about my dealer, and Ford as a whole. Now I'm hoping Ford has learned many lessons since building my '95 Contour - the Fusion is looking like a potential replacement someday.
