About George Carlin... I was watching some vintage episodes of Thomas the Tank Engine with my little cousin to show him what I used to watch as a kid, and lo and behold. George Carlin is the narrator for the show. Was he also the conductor for shining-time-station? I can't remember... I think Walken would make an excellent president. I say Walken v. Carlin in '08 Can you Dig IT!!!!

I've seen him on a number of shows (his commentary on Mauer's show was telling) and my comments still stand; he's an excellent entertainer with some compelling viewpoints and ideas, but I'd dig up Stalin and give him a run at the Presidency over Carlin on a good day...
...and a search through Wikipedia and a Google on his biography says he's a confirmed atheist and a high-school dropout. No mention of a PhD anywhere, though not that it means a whole Hell of a lot to me.
