I was just going over a few things the other day on the 'Tour' and noticed that their is a really strange linkage system that is between the throttle cable and the throttle body on my 98' V6. Interesting idea I guess... but why is mine so loose? I'm sure that I am not the only one out there with this problem. Just seems that with age (and not that much... car only has 50k) the linkage arm or whatever has just gotten a loose fit on the piviot points.
I was origionaly trying to find the slack in my throttle cable... slack turns out to be just sloppy linkage. Is there anyone else that has noticed this? Is there some sort of fix for it? How does the SVT hook up to the T-Body?
