Yeah, I like my WUXGA 1440x900 17" laptop. I'm sure the "shiny" Truelife 1900x1200 look better, but I'm fine with mine.

If you want a nice 20" widescreen, the Apple Cinema Display ($799) and Dell 2005FPW ($639) both use the same LCD panel. Check it out here. Their optimum resolution is 1680x1050. Apple claims 16ms; Dell claims 12ms. Anandtech says they use different backlights, so they both may be correct.

If you want bigger, HP and Apple both have 23" LCDs with high resolutions (the HP L2335 23" ($1399) uses native 1920x1200 read about it here...)

Apparantly Dell's 23" LCD sucks, but I haven't read into it much.
