Don't have a Duratec, but do have NGKs. I have NGK Laser Platinums in my Zetec, they cost me $10 apiece

I can feel a difference in throttle-response over my old Autolite double plats, but I believe they would make much more of a difference if I had new wires, better ignition, etc. No problems so far, although the plug was not the same length as stock, but longer. It's really up to you on plugs, though double plats and motorcrafts are always a good choice. my .02
