Plugs are usually relatively cheap, though I don't know how much the NGK's are. So, if you wanted you could always try them out and switch to OEM if you encounter problems. Be forewarned, though, my non-OEM plugs lasted about four months before showing any signs of problems, and that was only at high-load, high-rpm situations (floored at 80+mph with the ATX). The other risk is stripping the heads removing/installing plugs multiple times.
