Who says I do? I actually think gay couples should be given equal rights under the law (given the same indication of commitment marriage offers), though I don't think "marriage" is the way to do that. They're not fighting to be straight. They're fighting to have the same rights afforded to them as citizens of The United States.

You don't think "marriage" is the way to do that? Then what is your brilliant option to change it all? Repeal all the laws based upon "marriage?" Revoke all the rights based solely upon that institution? How do you propose we give gay men and women the same rights when it comes to the really important decisions, without taking 35 years to rewrite every single law pertaining to them? Why is it SO hard for you to accept "marriage" as something they want to have, but are not allowed to under the Texas State Constitution, because their interpretation of "marriage" is not the same?
