Just wondering how many people have bought the MSDS Headers and how their experience with them was? How long did it take to get your headers etc?

Marty's a great guy to deal with. I can't remember the specifics on shipping time frame. When I got mine I believe he carried a few sets in stock. I don't think he stocks them anymore so don't expect a super quick turn around. I think 3-4 weeks is the average, but don't quote me.

I got the MSDS headers... I wouldn't say the experience was anything special. I recieved the headers weeks after I was already supposed to have them. The communication wasn't very good and I had a hard time getting a tracking number. Everything turned out fine in the end, Id give them a B-

I got mine through a group buy, so there was really no communication from my end, but Marty met all the promises for shipping.

FYI, MSDS is currently closed for SEMA until November 10 just in case anyone is trying to order something. Other than that I've had great luck with MSDS. He is a small shop though so it can occassionaly be difficult to get ahold of him, but other than that, he'll work with you on things and has a great product.

I thought Marty was very helpful. He didnt have any sets in stock when I ordered mine so it took about a month to get them.

Marty called me today (I called right before SEMA to order some) and he said they just got back...they have the headers in stock...depending on what you need (O2 bungs, EGR, coating is what takes the time)

I only needed one o2 bung and no EGR and no coating...he said he might have them done by Friday and shipped...if not it'd be mon or tuesday, but I am not far from them so shipping time won't be long...

I will let everyone know how it goes.

mine took about 5-6 weeks, the communication was not that good, marty was very nice and very helpful when i did get a hold of him, my biggest problem was that they sent me the wrong y-pipe, but the problem was fixed very quickly.

Just to reiterate what I have told people in every Group Buy thread that I've posted for Marty, is to CALL HIM. I personally like to talk to a liver person, be able to explain what I want, and get an answer over the phone. Emails don't always send or come through, they aren't always easy to decipher(which is proven with a lot people's HORRIBLE grammar and English comprehensive skills), and they just take longer to respond to. There aren't many people now that don't have free long distance plans, so just pick up the phone, call him and talk to him personally.

Thanks! I did call him. He was way nice on the phone. Took the time to answer my questions. Now I just have to decide if I should go with the complete kit, (headers, y-pipe, gaskets, bolts, mil elimators, and coating) for $660, or Just get the headers, coating, gaskets, bolts, and mil elimators for $510.
Anyone have any opinions about their y-pipes?
