98SVTC CEG\'er 9 Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 460 Rowland Heights, Ca.	do you remember what part # the magnaflow was? i read on here somewhere to use the 10435 magnaflow is that the closeset replacement to the factory resonator ========================================================== That's the part number I asked for when I had it installed. I'm not sure they had the exact one though. Mine is round and is several inches longer than the stock res. I can't read the number on it as it is on top of the res under the bottom of the floor. The #10435 is the EXACT resinator I ordered, along with the two magnaflow mufflers i had installed a month or so ago. Best sound I've ever heard in my life. Stazi (holla atch boy) was kind enough to point me in the right direction, and I have not been disappointed in the slightest. The sound I have is a low, deep rumble that you can feel as well as hear (sorry I don't have an audio clip). What will it sound like replacing ONLY the resinator? I'm not quite sure. Do I recommend replacing the resinator with straight thru pipe? Some folks on this site say that that produces more of a ricey sound, and I personally would never want that. Go with the magnaflow res. and mufflers and you should be pleased with the sound. I know I am! I purchased my car with a center pipe in and it rasped really bad when cold... and droned on the highway. Was hard to have a conversation in the car and nobody (even the rents) would want to ride in the back if we were going on a highway.
