While I also like to see variation in the movies (which WM DOES have), that comment sounds a little anti skiing, and if it was intended that way it's pretty stupid. If not i'm sorry for taking it that way.

The board vs. skis days are over. And Staz is right. How many adds in TW Snowboarding are of some punk in a camoflage jacket sliding down a railing??? 20?!?!? It's cool, but overplayed.

It shouldn't matter if you're a heli skier, race boarder, freestyle nut, mogul freak, or just an average dude on the hill. It's about having fun doing what you're doing, enjoying who you're with, and drinking during and after..... Well, not so much the drinking for some folks, but anyway......

If you wanna come ride with us and have fun you should. We all ride different stuff different days. And no matter what i'm riding that day i'll do my best to keep up.

LOL! Yeah, Steeda and I have gone round and round enough on this subject, so i'll leave that alone! Bench racing is only so much fun..... And I don't wanna get own3d out there after running my mouth.....

But seriously, there are a bunch of guys on here that ski/ride. We should get together over at Alpine Valley or something this winter. At least it'd give a bunch of car guys a chance to hang out and talk cars when they're all stored away for the winter.
Usually it's just toddy, staz and myself, with one random dude thrown in like Mike, Big Mike (eurotour) or Petey. I think we could easily get 10 guys on the slizzopes, and we all know:
more guys= more sweet crashes.

I don't think the snowboarder vs. skier thing is dead at all. I've cussed out an old man skier because he told me I didn't know how to get onto a chair lift because some doushbag on SKIS on less decided he wanted to go with my friends.

Maybe not completely, but I believe it's the responsibility of everyone to make it less of an issue, that's all. If he makes a comment, it's your responsibility to downplay it as a boarder. IIRC, there's still places that don't allow boards. It's the demographic associated w/ 'em, and the kids "cussing out" some old man (that for all you know owns the place or is on a commity there) instead of ignoring it and going away.

I of all people know how to be a f***er. At the same time, in the case you're referring to, I wouldn't blame skiers as a whole; just that guy, that happens to be on skis.

IMHO, more guys on boards can't get on/off a chair than skiers. That's why on dismount i'm the first one up and off that chair. I hate it when some ass monkey's tail comes swinging out into my 900$ setup . For some reason these morons try to put their loose foot down instead of just planting it on a stomp pad and sliding down the ramp.

Case in point: eurotour and chang. Sorry guys, but you blow at getting off a chair.

Chang and Eurotour are both behemoths!

Only one of them per chair!

When they tumble off the lift everyone else still on the cable suddenlt drop down 2ft!
