Hello,
Before you get slammed by the board nazi's here is the way to solve the problem>
I spent 3 months chasing my water in the trunk problem.
1) don't silicone the foam gasket around the tail light, because silicone won't work, and it takes and hour to scrape it off.

2)Go to a glass shop and buy a $10 roll of the sticky, oily windsheild or glass gasket - it comes in a roll, looks like licice (the candy -- sp??) and is by 3M. Same sticky stuff around your windsheild. Then take off your tail lights strip off the lame foam gasket and put some of this stuff around the tail lights to seal them for good.
Hey worked for me!
