Ok this would be a LAST resort if the magnet and needlenose won't remove the dipstick.And you really don't want to remove the dipstick tube.I've seen the results of a broken dipstick falling into the crankcase on some makes of vehicles.


Remove the oil filler cap ,Using an airline and a air blower(not the low pressure Tire infaltion type)insert it into the oil filler hole, wrap a rag around the hole to block off the openning. Using short blasts (Not CONTINUOUS OR YOU MAY BE CHANGING SEALS!) the dipstick should be forced out. Warning - don't stand over it waiting or it may hit you in the face.

Like i said try the other method first !
