it's beyond just the at work or in case my kids walk in the room reasoning.
Some people are just flat out offended to see stuff like that pop up on screen, especially with no warning. EVEN people that enjoy pics like that on a regular basis. There's a time and a place for everything, and sometimes it's just not appropriate, which I believe is the biggest reason behind the rule.
and to repeat the already beaten dead horse point - it's one of the rules that you all agree to every single time you log into this site.
True, in the past a lot of this stuff slipped by pretty frequently, but the complaints still came in just as often.
The crackdown was much needed, otherwise why both having the rules if they won't be enforced?
Personally I'm finding that the posting of "rulebreaking" material is happening more frequently than it used to in the past, which is the reason for more frequent rule enforcement.
