its not a personal problem, it was about threads getting locked for dumb reasons due to "violations" in the rules...and when Roger's post came up, i thought the thread was totally appropiate. for one, the girls were dressed, and two in todays world, society has grown to incorporate girls with nice cars...so your seein it everywhere.
and when the mention of rules came up, EVEN THOUGH it was an inside joke, i mentioned that rule, becuz it did infact violate it, inside joke or not. and when roger's post came up about the violation of that rule it got locked, even though your ALWAYS going to see girls with cars.

And I clearly pointed out that many people at work who may be on the site could potentially open that thread and get into trouble over it. It needed to be removed and it should have been. I don't particularly want to lose my job because i unsuspectingly opened a thread with pics of barely clothes chicks in it. You can try and defend rogers post all you like, but it broke to specific rules (#2 & #17) and I will support that. As for Steeda's Mom Jokes they are fair game and that come directly from the top. it's beyond just the at work or in case my kids walk in the room reasoning.
Some people are just flat out offended to see stuff like that pop up on screen, especially with no warning. EVEN people that enjoy pics like that on a regular basis. There's a time and a place for everything, and sometimes it's just not appropriate, which I believe is the biggest reason behind the rule.
and to repeat the already beaten dead horse point - it's one of the rules that you all agree to every single time you log into this site.
True, in the past a lot of this stuff slipped by pretty frequently, but the complaints still came in just as often.
The crackdown was much needed, otherwise why both having the rules if they won't be enforced?
Personally I'm finding that the posting of "rulebreaking" material is happening more frequently than it used to in the past, which is the reason for more frequent rule enforcement.
