and pete, get off your soapbox about the "you shouldn't be online at work". many of us surf the net during downtime or at lunch... but either way, who the [censored] are you to tell us what we can and cannot do? every web forum has rules, every place of employment has rules. they will all differ, and thus create different sets of circumstances. but, above all... as mark said, those are the forum rules. it's not like they are so difficult to understand. i thought most of us were adult enough to grasp that.

I think that you guys getting all "Bible Belt" on us. I think that rule was more inclined to describe pics of chicks in thongs and topless.
Please explain how something you can see in a legitimate automotive industry expo (SEMA) is OK, but not suitable for this website? If SEMA had a 18 and over regulation - then you would have a leg to stand on, but till then I will say again that this is just RIDICULOUS!
Lance has a zero tolerance policy on stuff like that, Trust me I wish the rules were different and more lieniant, but they aren't and those are the rules we need to follow. I don't know about you, but I work for a company that has the HIN website banned because of adult content, that pic would have gotten me into trouble.
Personally i would like to see some adjustment to the rules to allow a little more, but require a possible "Not Work Safe" warning in the headline, but its not my site and I don't make the rules.

let me try to phrase it another way. CEG is consistent in it's application of the rules regarding posting pics of women in little clothing. as such, i feel safe browsing it while at work. bending the rules creates more problems than it's worth.

99% of the friggin internet is porn. if you guys are that hard up to see some chicks, take $20 in singles and go to a strip club. or better yet, post pics like that on a website that doesn't have a rule saying not to post them!!! a novel friggin idea, i know!!!
why is this such a problem all of a sudden? it's not like this is a new rule.

I think the rules should be a lot more lenient here as well, but explain this to me:
How does locking that thread help anything???
It's locked now. Guess what? I just clicked on it and saw the picture. Locking it does not really help anything, besides the fact that it eventually gets moved down to where noone will reply anymore, but that will eventually happen anyways.

After looking at that pic. Wow u guys locked that thread over thos girls. Who is the mod over there?? NOw after seeing tha tlocked this is getting stupid.
And yes there is always girls when it comes too cars. Always have been and always will be. I can remember 15 years ago truckin magazines and pro 5.0 they have girls all over ther cars in the mags??

Well, the posts in question should be deleted. The mod in that forum apparantly didn't do that. That really isn't my problem since its not my forum. You guys can rant in here all you want, but its really not going to change anything. If you want to make a difference start voicing your concerns to the admins (Lance, Outbackgirl, Andy W., Rara) through PRIVATE MESSEGE because thats the only way to get things changed.
