I think the post-98 'Tour is a rolling work of art. Notice how many of the styling cues from this body carried over to the remodeled Taurus, which is very handsome. The pre-98s are still good looking cars, just not as aggressive.

Another vote for 98+ front and 97- rear. I like 98+ mystique front too.

Pre's rule laugh !!!

Except for the SVT, I think the 98+ front end just looks wrong, like big eyes with no mouth. The SVT carries the statement of those massive headlights through to the gaping and aggressive mouth of the front air dam.

As for the pre's rear, it looks like a frown unless you have the rear lip spoiler from the early SE, which makes it look a little more like a scowl. The lip spoiler adds a "furrowed brow" to the face. If you mount SVT exhaust (or something similar) back there, now you have a scowling face with fangs. smile
