I love the car otherwise, but as a college student, I am POOR and need reliable transportation. I didn't do my homework on these cars before I bought it. I checked out the "common problems" on the main page, but the tranny shifted fine at the time. I was looking for a Focus, but in my $6k range an SVT Contour popped up, and I'd always loved the way they looked, so I couldn't resist.
