find a v8sho, walk up to it, and push down on the top of the spoiler. it's rigid enough that any force, allbeit small, would actually be transferred into downforce, whereas most spoilers are purely aesthetic, even if they have a larger surface area to produce downforce, all of it is lost in the flexability of the spoiler itself. don't even get me started on those aftermarket tinfoil [censored] you see on ricers.. sigh.
but who needs extra downforce on the read end of a front wheel drive car anyway?
My point exactly.
I don't think the Gen III SHO spoiler is any more effective than the rear spoiler on teh CSVTs, ZX2s, and any other similar platform.
