I got interested in the Contour when I first started seeing them in Touring Car racing. At that time it was the 95-97 body style and I thought it looked great. Yeah, I know some of the cars were Mondeos but the fronts looked similar. Then in 98 the new look appeared and at first I didn't like it. But after awhile I warmed up to it and now it's my favorite. The front looks properly sinister, especially when the car is black and lowered. The rear end might look better without the big chrome strip but I can live with it.
