i changed one on a 96 contour.... then 2 yrs. later it was replaced again... still would not work.. after the second one.... found out it was the up/down switch by the drivers side... the wiring harness on the switch pack was not making contack with the switch pack.. all other windows worked but the drivers window.... pulled out the switch pack and held the wiring harness to the back of the switch and it worked great..... now when it does not work... i just pull out the wiring harness and force it to the switch....
