A little bored... I decided to read up on the contour and read other user reviews... I found this on the reliability reviews... "Occasional problems on this vehicle are failures of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve and the EGR Passages. The cost to repair the EGR Valve is estimated at $90.00 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to repair the EGR Passages is estimated at $65.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax."

So... Since its a common problem, I was woundering... What is the symptoms of this valve failing? I have about 123K miles on my tour' and since this was a common problem, id imigine I migth be encountering it sometime in the future... Anybody have any ideas?
