A junkyard by me has one, and the car it came off of had 56,000 miles on it. It doesnt have any scratches or cracks I can see. Would this give me any more power, even though I cant get the LIM now? Thanks, Eric

would it? sure... matched to the lower it would be better.
Depending on the price its a great mod. If it is anything remotely expensive, have your honed instead.. if its dirt cheap, I think the phrase for you new-agers is: "helz yeah" or something like that.

It doesn't come with the SVT TB, will my stock one match up to it fine, and the cable and all that jazz..

also check what year it is. The 99 and the 2000's or maybe its just the 2000's(i cant remember, but someone will clarify) are double extruned honed as aposed to the single extrude honed on the early one. the later would be worth alot more. If the junk yard didnt know what they had and sold it to you cheap, you could sell it in the classified and make a few bucks, cause your not gonna make barely if any noticable gains, unless you matched it with the bigger lower I.M. and svt throttle body.

It's from a 2000, So I'm guessing they don't know what they have? I can get it now, then the LIM and TB later. Slowly but surely...

This was disproven a while back. All SVT UIMs are single honed to the same diameter.

I agree. I had an SVT UIM planned for my car, but once I started seeing prices and without any steals from the boneyards.. yeh, that ended quick.
