I kinda look at it like this, you call some place for some customer service on a product, all you get is a machine telling you to press all these numbers. Thats kinda like reading the FAQ at times, we all know we just want to talk to a person...just seem easier

I sometimes feel bad for newbies b/c they mean no harm...they want an easy answer to a question that does not have an easy answer.

But I see where the older guys (especilly this forum) get frustrated b/c "we" are so far past that question it isn't funny.

I have an idea...when the newbie's ask a Q...just don't answer it, then maybe they will search in the FAQ. Most of these people that come on and basic Q's will NEVER put a turbo on their contour. So if they are really serious they will at least get a basic understanding of turbos before asking these Q's.

If people did that, there would only be one new post a month in every topic exept common intrest.
Some time bringing up an old topic brings new info to it. Look at the tranny fluid topic. I cant count how many years the cocktail was the benchmark fluid that people run, if you asked the board, i would guess 75-80% would have recomended that. Now we find out, its crap. Of course we also found out if we run anything else other than the $$$$$ honey directly from ford, our diff. are gonna blow up. So i guess that kinda shoots a hole in my own logic, But you get the point.

WTF good have you done to his thread?! I told him to search like basically everbody else is going to or have said already. Why don't you go try to put a turbo on your free contour...

Oh and War I think Arthenia was getting at the irony, not so much his exact words that you think he mistquoted.
