Looks like you've got many options now Brian.
Awww, come on John, you know you want the Daytona.
Hmm, look what I just saw up in the GB section: Fidanza flywheel
14 left at $285.

Thanks Chris! I think I would do a spec flywheel... But that is a great price. Originally posted by LUCA: Looks like you've got many options now Brian.

No, no, I'm pretty sure I don't.

Aren't they made by the same people? Brian, I'd look that up if I were you. Also, if you're really that hard up for money to fix the car I'd just resurface the stock flywheel and put it back on.

It's my understanding that the spec is machined out of a fidenza blank... But what do I know! Now Torsen or Quaife? What is the extra cost getting me? This "might as well" list is never ending. But I don't what to do it twice!!! Thank God for credit!

LMAO! I know the feeling. Look more into that Spec/Fidanza deal. I think you should be able to find it in the Transaxle section.
I like what Demon said about the bias difference between the Quaife and Torsen, the Quaife being 2:1 and Torsen 3:1. What that does is give you more smooth launches and less torque steer. (I believe, you may want to look into that too.) I think the Torsen is cheaper but I'm not sure. However, the Quaife comes with an unconditional life-time guarantee. That's hard to beat with a stick but will you need it? I don't know...

Al's Auto is about 1.5 miles from Terri's house and he has an 01 Cougar transmission for $550. I can pick that up and bring it to you if you need... This place has the Torsen shipped for $550. I've never dealt with them, though.

Thanks John...
I think I'm just going to get mine rebuilt, and have the upgraded forks and such installed... I still don't know that I would gane anything with the quaife over the torsen.... Other then spend $100, but the life time warrenty sounds pretty good.

Honestly, I don't think you'd need the lifetime warranty. Torsen makes diffs for the Mustangs as well. Do you really think you'll break a Torsen with close to stock hp? I don't...
