My car seemed like a thrown together assortment of options. I had the plastic door panels. However, I also had a lighted glovebox. I had an 8 led 3rd brake light also. Another thing I had that I shouldn't have was that purse holder thing on the glovebox handle.

It seems like Ford just slapped whatever was left over on the 1999 and 2000 cars, making it darn near impossible to know what feature content really went with which trim.

haha,that's pretty crazy.

My '98 (August '97 build date) Mystique GS Sport Zetec atx had power windows, locks & mirrors, one touch down driver's window,AC,cruise,tilt,6 spoke alloys, folding rear seat, tach, clock on the dash, manual seats, cloth door panels, and ABS. I later added leather seats, and the driver's seat was power, and switched the door panels over too, with the leather instead of the cloth.

My '95 Contour GL Duratec MTX (June '95 build date, one of the early cars) has cloth seats & door panels, fullback rear seat, power windows, locks & mirrors, one touch down window, dash clock,1 pop up cup holder on the console, little storage cubby under the radio, lighted glove box, hood and trunk, tach,AC & cruise. I miss the folding rear seat & tilt steering the most.
