dude ibub, throw in some 95 se seats. you wont be dissapointed. much cheaper than those after market, they bolt right in, and they are the nicest seats ever installed in a contour. the side bollstering is amazing.

Are the SE seats the same as the GL seats or are they different in height?

How could you make this claim of 95SE seats being comfortable than Torinos? Unless you have the seats personally, dont make this claim. Yes, the Torino's are expensive, but Sparco makes other racing seats that are less expensive ($200 on up each)for which you could retain your current seat brackets. I had a 95SE before I got the 98.5 CSVT and the seats sucked big time! Matter of fact, the seats wore out very quickly. So, dont talk unless you truely know what you are talking about.

I've been really happy with the Corbeau GTS-II that I replaced my constantly shifting and worn Contour driver's seat with. Check it out at www.corbeau.com. The seat and the bracket ran about $460. I think it was $399 for the seat and $60 for the bracket. I did have to take a Dremel tool to the bracket holes to widen them because things weren't lining up with the holes in the floor. But, once I got past that minor PITA, things are great. Very supportive, no squeaking, no moving. Maybe the only downside is if you're tall, I'm 6' 1", you might find the dimimished head room a bit bothersome. I think the Corbeau bracket raises the original driving position by about an inch or so. But, I've gotten used to it. Better than the worn seat I put up with for so long.

well icey, keep your cool. if you would read i stated that they are the best seats ever installed in a contour. the seats that you are pitching are aftermarket, and yes i have sat in them before. your seats sucked big time? well, you are the first person that i have ever heard that didnt like them. you do have to be a thin person to fit in them correctly, i will give you that, but they are the best contour seats hands down.
