i know ryan knows who this guy is. this is a completely stock longblock with probably close to 70k on the ticker. 738whp on a factory stock block is freakin nuts.

If I was gay, I'd marry Frank.....I don't think that's allowed in AR though :-)

he must work magic with his tuning capability and/or turbos really are that much better. I'm still bias to the whine of a roots type s/c

im sure turbo's are actually that much better. im not sure if this is a gen1 thing or what but measuring the cfm that a kenne bell flows and a dinky powedyne, the tiny powedyne flows slightly more. the 2.2 kb for a gen1 only flows 800cfm, where as a novi 2000 flows around 1600cfm. from what ive read at a certian power level the roots blower is a pretty good sized restriction. that and the turbo is so much easier on the engine itself.

dont get me wrong i love that scream of a roots blower but id take a turbocharger over it any day of the week and twice on sundays.

a KB is NOT a roots.
and comparing a centerfugal (novi) to a lysholm is also apples to oranges. And your numbers came from where?

Yes we know that, its a 'roots type' which we use for the people out there who don't know what lysholm is.

there have been quite a few people who have measured the airflow of their superchargers. they just dont flow that well its all there is to it. yes i was trying to keep it as easy to understand as i could, sorry for the confusion.

oh ryan, did you read that frank finally killed that motor last night. truely a sad day in the lightning community, the little engine that could finally gave up.
