mr. mystique : yeah theres a couple tricks here and there. fiberglass may be difficult to stick to the stock urethane bumper. try to stay away from bondo. it will crack easier since the bumper is so flimsy.

Looks great but wouldn't it have been easier to have made a bolt on for the lower part of front bumper than making an entire bumper cover. I think this would be more cost effective way plus it could be molded on. The lower portion doesn't look like its benefiting from any RIGIDITY offered by the stock bumper so that could work plus you could do same for rear bumper.

Where can I buy this? How much did it cost to do? PLEASE let me know. I have been looking for something different instead of the same old boring SVT kits (no offense). WOW! That is all I can say. Please email me about this. I would love more information. Thanks!

Nice effort, and I applaud the originality of it. Add rear to make lines flow better and you're onto some thing.
Again, nice effort!

I think with a little more curvature that bumper(fogs and rectangle slots) would look and work sweet on the Turbo SVT.

I like the Skyline bumper all together. It solves the 2 problems I see with the SVT bumper - it does not fall low to the ground (like yours does) and it replaces the long, wide center scoop/grille with the taller, narrower one (PERFECT for the turbo intercooler - see the new pics thread in the Forced Induction Category). I am still seriously thinking of going white with my SVT.
I see that not everyone read the words that accompanied your pics (i.e. the rear bumper is coming soon). Looks great. I do think that if you spent all the time to graft the aftermarket half on, you should probably cut the not-so-hidden stock bumper out (at least the sub-radiator part) and reinforce the interior of the outer shell (perhaps with multiple layers of fiberglass/urethane/cf or just more resin.
All together, I'd say you have a fine lookin car!
Congrats and I'm looking forward to seeing the rear bumper.
P.S. - I saw 2 pics of the car before you had the lettering across the rear doors - why did it take so long to get these pics out?
Have you put in your $0.02 to save contour.org?? Put in what you can spare to keep the site up. Check the General Forum. ~~~~~~ David * 2k Black SVT on 17" Konig/Yokohama * MB Quart all around; Alpine 7995, DEI/Alpine amps; Dynomat
