Given the matrix of every possible combination I am surprised that the engineers for OBD have not figured out to tell us we are :
- overweight
- eating the wrong foods
- our coffee (in the cupholder) is low
- our coffee too hot or cold
- the driver is holding the steering wheel in the wrong spots ( don't hold you hand on the horn in a collision, it will break when the airbag goes off)
- the car is cornering too fast or slow
- etc., etc.
Sorry but I am fed up with CEL codes. I think the politicians and engineers have replaced good passive design control systems with very intricate and failure prone active control systems.
In the rocket realm this is the dependable Russian rocket vehicle versus the high tech unreliable Nasa Shuttle.
