I just threw the Vette out there as an example. You can throw in Supra, Z, S2000, Enzo, I don't care. It is a plain and simple fact that there are cars out there that are better to work with than others. I understand what you're saying about it being my opinion, but what I'm saying is that as far as car enthusiasts in general go, a stock Mustang or whatever would get much more respect than a Cavalier with aesthetic mods. Somebody liking a car does not automatically make it a good platform. Factors as simple as engine size, suspension setup, and aftermarket size give certain cars an advantage. Just as anyone serious about drag racing would probably not pick a Contour as their first choice, someone looking for the best handling car would not pick an Excursion. Yes, a certain amount of respect is due to someone putting a lot of time and effort into getting his or her car they way they like it, but I'm tired of people saying anything is tasteful or everything is equal simply because you like it. Please let me know if any of this doesn't make sense.
