Sometimes there is a difference in the tint, or even in the area that is tinted, or in the mask (the area near the rear view mirror with a bunch of tiny dots as well as the same sort of pattern around the windshield). May times there are such differences without there being any difference in the glass fit and often the later better one is less expensive.
that was the exact thought that went thru my mind, until the shop called around asking if the 96s and 95s are interchangeble and the answer was NO.
so i was hoping someone on here has tried installing a 96s windshield on a 95 contour successfully, and the shop was trying to make a little more money off of me.
