If you have minor repairs such as wire or two. Then I would say yes you can repair it. But with what I have seen with these Contours, when the insulation start to flake off, etc. most of the entire harness is affected. Trying to repair a harness in this condition is like trying to plug a hole in a damn with your finger. Because of FORD using cheap materials,etc. the harness is not viable...only alternative is to replace it for piece of mind - I know, I speak from experience on this one....
