Children must do whatever their parents say until they turn 18. If you want to make this an argument about what kids should and should not be able to do, then go ahead, but it's not what you intended when you started the thread.
Please don't look past the fact that parents can remove their kids from these schools whenever they like. Being mad because these kids are supposedly trapped in Catholic schools and therefore cannot have MySpace accounts is kind of foolish, because I don't see any right to such accounts or, frankly, the need for one.
