Personally theres a couple oil/filters I will ALWAYS stay away from...
1. Fram oil filters- saw one cut open one time and it had newspaper in it
2. Castrol oil, garbage IMO
3. Penzoil, garbage IMO
I've formed this opinion from years of reading here and other places, as well as personal experience (see reason #1
) There was a HUGE oil filter evaluation here a while ago, the "old schoolers" will remember it. It would be great if someone could bring that up again
FWIW, I always use Mobil 1, Mobil one filters and/or Pure One
