My son froze up his 1995 GL. I am pulling the engine to either rebuild or swap it. I have been using the Haynes book and am less than an hour away from being able to drop the engine. That is what they say to do, drop it out the bottom with the sub-frame. Then last night I saw that the engine rebuild sticky forum said he dropped it in the top?
Is it easier to go up or down?
I have always been concerned about taking out the subframe and getting it back in the same place.
What do you guys do (up or down)?
