My springs/struts are off of my 2000 SVT w/ 50,000. They're in good shape, no leaks/no rust. PM me if interested and I'll get working on a price that includes shipping charges.
If Alias doesn't buy your used springs and struts, what are you going to do with them? Throw them away? So why charge him at all? It is a wear item that is easily halfway through it's optimum life-cycle yet you still want some coin off him? Gee, what a friend.
No way! Its business and has nothing to do with being friends. THe struts were mounted with all original hardware and were in good shape. Members may say bad things but the factory struts actually last a long time when things like tires, balancing, alignments and bushings are kept up with. With even 50K left on them as you suggest that could 3-4 years of driving for someone, or as little as 1-2 yrs. Still, 2 years ought to be worth some money. I'd sell the setup for aobut $150+shipping and I would think it would be a good deal. I'd buy it for that price if I needed/wanted Factory handling at a good price.

I know of junkyards that will sell all of it for less than $100 (though you'd probably have to pull it yourself), and we're an enthusiast group and should try to help each other. Just my opinion. If somebody wants to sell something for a somewhat high price and someone wants to pay that price, then that's up to ya'll.
Kremit, I really disagree with this one. I think 50K is about right. If you listen to BigJim and take care of your suspension then up to 150K is realistic.

I'll be honest, I sold my stock SVT suspension with 50 some-odd thousand miles to Chris(tour96se) thinking that he'd be able to run the suspension for a while with no ill effects. The suspension was in perfect shape when I pulled it from the car, and it was obviously in good shape when he received it. He installs the kit, and not more than a week later one of the front springs broke! Just a headsup though, as I understand you're young and as broke as a dime wh0re on nickel night. Good luck!

Ill let everybody know my budget once I start to get quote from local shops... Basically I have a birthday coming up, and I really cant think of anything else that I want (except computer parts). So I want to combine my mom and dad's present and see if I cant get a decent suspension for cheap... I'm thinking its going to hit around $400... But thats a REALLY rough estimate. Give or take Labor charges...

I'll have to disagree. I've seen firsthand, and from others that the rear struts do not last very long in most cases. The front last a bit longer. Maybe if you drive like a grandma, etc. they can last longer. Just what I've obvserved.

If you're wanting a local shop to install springs and struts (and new upper mounts without a doubt) my REALLY rough estimate would be for you to expect to pay maybe twice that amount.

I rotate and check balance every 6k and a 24 pound dachshund and a bag or two of trash is the heaviest load the car usually ever sees. I was thinking $100+shipping figuring that would cover the cost of 1 caster/camber plate with enough left over to get my dog another months worth of phenobarbital, but it seemed to start a little war that I did not expect so I already told the local scrape collector that he was welcome to them when they come off.

Stazi sold some heim joint endlinks he put together himself, which you can put together yourself as well if you buy the parts. I'm not sure if he still does it, but you can PM him and ask, or atleast ask what is needed to make them. I have a set on my car.
I wonder how they compare to CTA Motorsport's "upgraded" endlink or their newest light alloy endlink...
