let me rephrase since you apparently have thin skin...

no one place is going to be 15 min away from everyone. most people will end up driving at least 30 min, if not twice that, to attend a meet. so, if you're idea of something new equates to 15 min from your house so you can have a shorter drive, maybe you could consider hosting a meet?

otherwise, i'd say that a 30 min drive will be pretty much standard.
